How do I clean my Invisalign clear aligners?
Keeping your aligners fresh is super simple! Just follow these three steps:
- Rinse and Soak: Rinse them when you take them out and soak them daily using Invisalign Cleaning Crystals.
- Brush Gently: Use a soft toothbrush to sweep away any leftover bits.
- Rinse and Go: Give them one last rinse and pop them back in.
How long do I wear each set of aligners?
You will usually wear a set for about a week or two before moving to the next one. Dr. Kozak or Dr. Durbin will give you a customized schedule based on your desired result and how your teeth are moving.
Can I stay active with Invisalign clear aligners?
Absolutely! They are perfect for athletes. For most sports, you can wear them while you play. For high-contact sports, just take them out and wear a mouthguard. We recommend wearing your aligners for 20-22 hours a day for the best results.
